This tournament
will consist of four separate competitions:
boys singles,
girls singles, boys doubles and girls doubles.
Both the singles
and the doubles will be run on either the “Swiss” or the “round-robin”
system, so all entrants will play several games.
It is expected
that the tournament will start at 10.00am and finish by 6.00pm. However,
the start and finish times of each event cannot be calculated until
the size of the entry is known.
Yonex Mavis
370 nylon shuttlecocks will be used throughout.
All competitors
should bring a badminton racket, and should wear clean, light-coloured
sole sports shoes and acceptable sports clothing.
Trophies
will be awarded to the finalists in each event.
Rules
of Entry
- Entrants must
have been born after 31st August 1992.
- All entrants
must either live in Berkshire or attend school in Berkshire.
- Players who have
represented at County level are not eligible.

tournament for children of “Year 5” age (or younger) will consist

been booked from 10.00am until 3.00pm. The start time and duration
of each event will depend on the number of entries received.
Cork-based
plastic shuttlecocks will be used throughout.
